Problem
Foundation Programme applicants rank schools and programmes using scattered information on location, competition and travel.
Intended users
UK Foundation Programme applicants. The site is free and unofficial.
My contribution
To add: What did you personally design, build, test or deliver? Credit collaborators separately.
Implementation
A map of Foundation schools and hospitals where applicants drag schools into a personal ranking. Allocation chances come from simulations using published competition ratios from 2024 to 2026. Further tools cover personalised job ranking, travel times and rent data. Google sign-in syncs settings across devices.
Important tradeoffs
Chances are estimates, not predictions, and the site says so. The simulation does not force its inputs to match the published first-choice result. Optional AI features fail closed and the standard ranker remains available.
Verification
The simulation's uncertainty is back-tested by predicting the newest year from the two earlier years, and school inputs are cross-checked against the published national first-choice allocation. A UK privacy, accessibility and consumer audit has shaped the site's privacy notices and keyboard access.
Outcomes
To add: Add current status, observed results and supporting links. No estimates presented as measurements.
